WisDOT – Dodge County Historic Bridges

Dedication and unique workmanship were required to complete this project, from mobilization to revitalization to installation of the two historic bridges end-to-end over the Crawfish River. The bridges were stripped of old lead paint and repainted. In some areas, the crew had to simulate the rivet construction of the bridges so the restored portions matched the original parts that survived. The teamwork of all crews enabled the project to be completed in three months, one month ahead of schedule.
